What sets us apart:

  • Electric Tools

    We use electric tools to drastically reduce our carbon footprint and minimize noise pollution. Electric tools also help keep us and our clients safe from breathing in toxic fumes.

  • Native Plants

    We aim to incorporate native plants into gardens whenever possible. Native plants provide habitat and food for animals, consume fewer resources, and are more resilient to disease and pests.

  • Pollinator Friendly

    About 30% of the world’s food crops rely on pollinators. We aim to create habitat that will support bees, butterflies, birds, and bats as a means of food security, and in order to maintain a healthy ecosystem.

  • No Invasive Species

    Invasive species are introduced plants that outcompete other plants, specifically native ones. We refuse to plant these species, as the effects on the native flora, and fauna are detrimental.

  • No Chemicals

    Chemical fertilizers and pesticides are detrimental to human health, the environment, and animals. We use a more natural approach, such as mulches and compost teas, to increase soil fertility and plant health. Diverse gardens are less susceptible to pests and attract beneficial predatory insects.

  • Low Till

    Many plants form symbiotic relationships with mycorrhizal fungi. These fungal networks are extremely beneficial, as they aid in plant communication and nutrient absorption. Tilling the soil breaks up these vast networks, leaving the plant vulnerable. We offer alternative practices to tilling.

  • Diversity

    Biodiversity is the key to a healthy garden. We promote the use of a diverse number of plant species to create a holistic garden.

Meet Neal

Neal is the monkey of the team, as you can usually find him at the top of the ladder, pruning the tallest trees. He loves using native plants in the garden, and installing lawn alternatives. On his spare time, you can find him out in the woods, hiking and foraging for delicious mushrooms!

Neal has a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environmental Studies. He loves to combine his love of the environment, with his passion for gardening!.

Meet Sabrina

Sabrina likes to tackle any overgrown garden, and gets excited about designing garden spaces and planters. On her spare time, you can find her tending to her flowers in the garden, or curled up with her cat, watching a movie. 

Sabrina has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Studies. She likes to use her biology background to not only create a beautiful garden, but to also create wildlife habitat.

  • Plant Placement and Installation Certificate

  • Pruning for Landscapers and Gardeners Certificate

  • Restoring Soil Health on Farms, Gardens, and Cities

  • Invasive Species 101 certificate from Invasive Species Council of BC

  • A combined 9 years of experience
